Former Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) chief Ng Boon Gay was charged in court today with four counts of corruption.
He pleaded not guilty.
The 49-year-old allegedly obtained sexual gratification from Ms Cecilia Sue Siew Nang. Channel NewsAsia reported that Ng allegedly had oral sex with Ms Sue four times last year.
Working as a sales manager of Hitachi Data Systems till November last year, Ms Sue joined Oracle Corporation Singapore a month later. It's believed she was employed as a senior sales manager. Oracle told Channel NewsAsia that Ms Sue is still at the company.
According to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) the sexual encounters were allegedly in exchange for furthering “the business interests of the relevant IT vendor, in respect of that vendor's dealings with CNB.”
Ng's wife sent out a statement saying she's never doubted her husband's professional integrity and that she will stand by him.
Ng’s case follows another high profile corruption case recently.
Last week, former Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) chief Peter Lim, was charged with ten counts of corruption.

There are contracts involving Lim that are still under review by the home affairs ministry.
News about Ng and Lim being investigated by the CPIB came out earlier this year.
